The Collection Memento N 1 is an homage to the KENZO fashion house's heritage, its spirit, its originality, its love of prints and colors. To begin this new series, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon were inspired by the infamous 1983 campaign, photographed by fashion photographer #HansFeurer, who shot the 2017 campaign as well. "At the time, when Kenzo [Takada] asked me to do pictures for him, he didnʼt really have a concept of how he wanted these pictures to be. I had this idea of doing extreme close-ups and sort of suggesting without really showing. So I asked him how far I could go. What if I wanted to only do close-ups of womenʼs eyes?
